Condition & Grading Policy

Last Updated: July 2026

At Pacific Crest Distribution, we are committed to providing clear, accurate, and transparent information about the condition of the wholesale inventory we sell. Because liquidation merchandise comes from a variety of trusted suppliers, retailers, distributors, and manufacturers, products may vary in condition. This policy explains our grading standards to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

1. Product Condition Categories

Our inventory may be classified into one or more of the following condition grades:

Brand New

Products are unused and in excellent condition. Items may include original packaging, although packaging may occasionally show minor storage or shipping wear.

Overstock

New merchandise that remained unsold by retailers or distributors. Products are generally unused and fully functional but may have damaged or replaced packaging.

Shelf Pulls

Items removed from retail shelves due to seasonal changes, packaging updates, discontinued product lines, or inventory rotation. Products are often unused but packaging may show labels, stickers, or light cosmetic wear.

Open Box

Products whose original packaging has been opened. Items are generally complete and may have been inspected or briefly handled before resale.

Customer Returns

Products returned by customers for various reasons. Some items may be unused while others may show signs of previous handling or use. Functionality and completeness can vary.

Mixed Merchandise

Pallets containing products in multiple condition grades. These loads may include a combination of new, overstock, shelf pulls, customer returns, and open-box merchandise.

2. Product Variations

Due to the nature of wholesale liquidation inventory, products may vary in:

  • Brand assortment

  • Colors and sizes

  • Packaging condition

  • Manufacturing dates

  • Accessories included

  • Product quantities

  • Model variations

These differences are considered normal and do not necessarily indicate an incorrect shipment.

3. Product Listings

We make every effort to ensure that our product listings accurately describe the merchandise being offered. Images, descriptions, quantities, and specifications are provided for reference and may not represent every individual item within a pallet or truckload.

Customers are encouraged to review all listing information carefully before placing an order.

4. Customer Expectations

Wholesale liquidation inventory is sold with the understanding that minor imperfections, packaging damage, mixed assortments, or cosmetic wear may be present depending on the product grade.

Customers purchasing liquidation merchandise should have realistic expectations regarding product condition and resale opportunities.

5. Inspection & Quality Control

Our team performs reasonable inspections and quality checks where applicable. However, due to the large volume and mixed nature of liquidation inventory, individual testing of every product may not always be possible.

6. Reporting Product Issues

If you believe your shipment differs significantly from the confirmed order, please contact Pacific Crest Distribution promptly with:

  • Order number

  • Product photographs

  • Shipping label photographs

  • Description of the issue

Our support team will review your request and provide an appropriate resolution where applicable.

7. Policy Updates

Pacific Crest Distribution reserves the right to update this Condition & Grading Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with the revised “Last Updated” date.
